We’re excited to introduce you to our very first limited edition beer, a pride beer called True Colours.
Pride 365
As an LGBT+ founded brewery with a diverse team, we strongly believe in celebrating pride 365 days a year, not just in June. That said, pride month is a great time to spark conversation surrounding the issues faced by the LGBT+ community and we wanted to help address these issues by doing what we do best…brewing beer!
Discover our pride beer…
True Colours is a juicy IPA with a soft, sessionable bitterness. Brewed with American and New Zealand hops, Vista and Nectaron provide juicy flavours of pineapple, passionfruit, and mango. The perfect summer beer in our opinion!
More than just a beer
Whilst it’s a fantastic pride beer in its own right, True Colours is more than just a beer. Pride messaging often places the honus on members of the LGBT+ community to be out and proud, no matter the risks. True Colours flips that idea on its head and serves as an important reminder to EVERYONE that we should all help create a world in which everyone is safe to share their true colours.
Our very first pride beer supports a charity close to our hearts, Galop UK. Galop has decades of experience in supporting LGBT+ people who are victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, so-called conversion therapies, honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and other forms of abuse.
10p from every can of our pride beer sold is donated to Galop to support their important work.
If you or a loved one has been affected by the issues mentioned above, please feel free to contaxct Galop via their National Hate Crime Helpline on 0800 999 5428.
Pride beer supported by Charles Faram
Charles Faram supply all of our hops for all of our beers. As soon as we approached them with the idea for this beer, they were keen to support us. Their support has meant our pride beer can have even greater impact by allowing us to donate more per can to support our charity partner, Galop.
Every can bought of True Colours helps make the world a better place. Now that’s something we can raise a beer to, cheers!
